Show me the money

I rang up one of my ex-colleague a few weeks ago. We chatted over the phone for quite awhile and before I hang off the phone I took the opportunity to ask him if he is interested to consider exploring business startup opportunities. Immediately he asked me to show him the money before he would ever think about venturing into any business startup deals. There are many people out there who feel the same way just like my ex-colleague, people who feel that they need to have the money to begin with.
I beg to differ in opinion though. We don’t need to be great to start; we certainly need to start to become great. Well anyway, this is just my personal opinion, food for thoughts so to speak.
