Beijing delicacies

Surprisingly there are many Chinese who are not aware of insect delicacies sold in Beijing most well known Wangfuging Street. Some of the insects include scorpions and beetles. Attached photo shots of such delicacies taken a week ago while I was in Beijing. No one knows for sure if these insects are bred and harvested in house.

There’s a joke that the Chinese eats almost anything under the sun, with the exception of the table and chair, anything can be cook and eaten. Probably that explains why you can find Chinese in almost every part of the world. Chinese are very adaptive to all sorts of environment and cultures.
