Reframing And EFR treatment For Burnout

Do you perceived a half filled glass of water as half full or half empty? Similarly how we feel and respond to surrounding environment impacts our ability to cope with stress and burn out. There are couples of ways to deal with burn out. What works for someone may not work for you so it is important for you to try out the various techniques and adopt the appropriate method that works best for you.

Unless you are sitting in the cockpit of plane breaking apart in midair, cruising at 30, 000 feet ofwhich there's practically nothing you could do, there are definitely ways for you to redeem and extract yourself from the agony of burnout and over stress.

There is the saying ‘Do what you like and you will never have to work another day’. True to that wise old saying, if we dislike or we hate what we do, chances are that eventually we will be stress out doing it, more so if we are told to beat the deadline. One way to overcome this problem is by reframing or changes our perception regarding the job or task that we dislike and imagine or visualize it into something more interesting.

For instance, if you dislike clearing weeds in your home garden backyard, you could imagine and visualize it as doing warm up for the football match that you are looking forward to or you could imagine the amount of weeds cleared as money that you will earned down the road. It sounds funny but it helps at times.

Another interesting method involves psychological and mental acupuncture technique. Emotional Freedom Technique, better known as EFR has been proven to help alleviate stress and burn out. EFTR is a powerful and easy to use technique to calm your body and mind. Emotional Freedom Technique is an interesting time tested and proven method to solve various life challenges.

There is no expensive nor painful medication treatment for stress and burnout with EFR, all that is required is just bodily tapping with your fingers, mental rehearsal and positive mindset to get you moving along alleviating chronic stress and burn out. There is very low risk, if not almost zero associated with EFR.
