L-Carnosine The Super Anti Aging Compound

Supplements containing Co-enzyme Q10 is widely used to combat anti aging effects and diseases. Co-enzyme Q10 is produced naturally by the body and its level depletes, as one aged. Another important compound that is naturally produce by the body to combat degenerative diseases and slow down aging process is L-Carnosine.

L-Carnosine is firstly discovered in Russia in the 1900. Medical experts and physicians hardly take notice of the discovery of this important natural substance. Subsequent ongoing research in the area of aging process puts L-Carnosine among the top few critical compounds that the body needs to slow aging process.

What exactly is L-Carnosine? Basically it is compound that is made up of the combination of two important amino acids, namely beta-alanine and L-histidine.

This compound is generated naturally in the human body and is found particularly in the muscle of human and animals. Just like Co-enzyme Q10, this compound level drops and depletes as one aged.

Some of the benefits of Carnosine are cancer prevention, boost up immune system, improve and expedite wound-healing process, increase protection against radiation, improve skin complexion and reduce gastric ulceration.

Normal metabolism of the body caused sugar to interact with fat or protein and this generates abnormal protein. This process is known as Advance Glycoslation End-Products (AGES) and it cause damage to the organism by means of cross-linking of proteins to DNA molecules. L-Carnosine helps to prevent the formation of such abnormal protein that contributes to the aging process.

Carnosine is beneficial in treating diabetic complications such as kidney failure and cataract. There are reports and findings to suggest it is also effective in slowing down dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

One of the most important aspects of L-Carnosine is that it helps to rejuvenate cells as well as extend cell life cycle. L-Carnosine is the only compound commercially available that possesses this very important and unique characteristic.

In summary, L-Carnosine possesses strong antioxidant and free radical fighting properties and helps to protect the body against cellular damage. The combination of L-Carnosine, Co-enzyme Q10 and vitamin E provides good protection against inflammation caused by radical oxidation and toxins accumulated in the body.

You may wish to consider taking L-Carnosine supplement (50mg a day) to address muscle fatigue and combat abnormal aging process. Chicken and lean red meat also contains L-Carnosine, albeit in less quantity compare to the supplement formulated specifically for it.
