World class table tennis match

Watching the Beijing Olympic woman's single final table tennis match between world ranking number 1 Zhang Yining and 3rd world ranking Wang Nan is really entertaining. After watching the match between these two Chinese players, I can’t help but appreciate why these two players indeed live up to their reputation as the world best table tennis players.

On the contrary Singapore’s China born Li Jia Wei performance is rather dismal and disappointing. Lee not only makes too many un-force silly errors, the biggest letdown and something that I could not tolerate is her laziness and unwillingness to move around the court to intercept the ball. Instead Li just stood like a dead wood as if her shoes were glued and stuck on the floor. Li lost the bronze match to Guo Yue. Li does not deserve the bronze medal at all. At age 27, Li probably just have a few more years before retiring. Despite all the training and International exposure, Li ability and table tennis skills is far from China’s best.
