How much water should we drink in a day?

Certainly not 8 glasses a day as what we’ve been told. The American Journal of physiology reported in the 2002 findings that there is no basis for drinking water more than what we thirst for. As a matter of fact drinking too much water can be more harmful in certain ways as it keeps a heavy toll on our kidneys and depletes the important minerals that our body needs. So back to the question, how much water should we drink in a day?
The answer couldn’t be simpler. Observe the color of your urine. It your urine is yellowish or brownish, chances are that you are dehydrated so do drink more water. Drink enough fluid to ensure that your urine is colorless like water.
