The Risk Of Excessive Supplement Intake

Here’s some interesting fact about excessive intake of vitamin and mineral supplements. Excessive vitamin 'A’ intake can reduce Vitamin 'D' in your body. Vitamin D is essential to health thus you don't want to overdose yourself with vitamin 'A'. Excessive calcium intake could worsen osteoporosis condition instead of increasing bone mass & density that most people assume with increase calcium intake. Sounds strange but it's true.

The key thing to note is that you may very well likely suffer from excessive intake of such vitamin if you follow the recommended dosage. Never follow the recommended dosage because everyone has different response and threshold tolerance to amount of supplement intake. Always start with lower dosage and then slowly increase the amount so as to enable your body to adjust to it.

One of the question often ask by many is how do we know if we are taking excessive supplements? One of the tip that I learn is by observing the color of your urine and also if there any change to your sleep pattern if all other factors such as diet and lifestyle remain unchanged.

As the saying goes, too much of everything may not be good for the body and it couldn’t be further from the truth. The key point is to take every moderately, not too much and not too little.
