Having healthy skin is the key to great looking skin. When your skin is healthy, you will look and feel great. Healthy skin helps to reduce and slow down aging effects such as crowfeet, wrinkles, lines and other skin blemishes.

I have never come across sickly people who have great looking skin. The skin is the largest organ in the body thus any disease or illness will show in the skin.
Lead a healthy life style; take plenty of fruits and vegetables. Get a balance diet, exercise regularly and get plenty of quality sleep. Exercise improves blood circulation and skin cells relies on good blood circulation to stay healthy
2)
Avoid environmental stress and pollutants such as smoking and sunburn.
Sunshine is good for the skin but you need to avoid over exposing yourself to harmful UV ray that may harm your skin. Smoking is known to dehydrate, impairs blood circulation and affects the skin collagen.
3) Take vitamin supplements and nutrients
Omega 3 is good for skin. You may not be able to get the required amount of vitamins or nutrients in the food that you take daily. Thus you need to take vitamin supplements and nutrient in moderate amount to supplement what is lacking in the body.

You should avoid regular skin products if possible because there's a high chance that it contains questionable ingredients that may be harmful to your health. Poisoning Your Self Through The Skin
Cosmetic business thrives regardless of the state of the world’s economy. Good or bad times you will find ladies spending money on cosmetic products. Cosmetic business is multi billion-dollar industry.
Here’s a good posting on the dangers associated with deodorants and other cosmetic make up products. The key point to remember is that you should never apply anything to your skin that you will not put into your mouth and eat it.
The skin is the largest organ in our body. Whatever that we apply to the skin will cross the skin blood vessel barrier and enter the blood stream one way or another. For a simple experiment, just take a garlic or ginger chop up and rub it against your skin. You will feel the garlic or ginger taste as it enters the blood stream and triggers your sensory perception.

Anti aging skin care
One of the most interesting topics on skin care is ‘anti aging skin care’. As one gets older, the natural defence of our skin (and in fact of the whole body) weakens. ‘Anti aging skin care’ is about protecting your skin from the negative effects of aging process. ‘Anti aging skin care’ helps in maintaining a young and fresh look for a longer period of time. However, ‘anti aging skin care’ doesn’t end just here. Besides maintaining your looks (good looks), ‘anti aging skin care’ is also about retaining the resistance to disease. Though the awareness about anti aging has increased over a period of time, still a lot of people are unable to recognize the aging symptoms (and hence are unable to determine if they are in need of additional anti aging skin care measures).
Here is a list of visible anti aging symptoms that will help you in the planning and execution of your strategy for anti aging skin care: baldness, forgetfulness, graying hair, wrinkle formation, loss of eyesight or hearing loss and menopause. The occurrence of one or more such symptoms is an indicator for upping the ante on anti aging skin care. Note that we are talking about introduction of additional measures for anti aging skin care, we are not talking about starting ‘anti aging skin care’ altogether. ‘Anti aging skin care’ actually starts much before the symptoms of anti aging appear. Serious anti aging skin care is building and following a proper skin care routine much earlier in life (say in your teens). Anti aging skin care doesn’t mean adoption of any special skin care procedure but just following a normal procedure in the right earnest. Eating a lot of fruits, avoiding stress, drinking a lot of water and using natural therapies can delay the aging process.
Once the signs of aging start showing up, you should start using some additional measures in the form of anti aging skin care products. The market is full of anti aging skin care products. In fact there are so many anti aging skin care products that they will probably find you even before you find them. Also, with age, the skin undergoes significant change. So you will need to analyse your current skin care procedure to check if it still holds good i.e. if it is still suitable for your skin.
You should remember that aging is a natural process and there is nothing that can stop it from happening. All these anti aging skin measures can just help in delaying the aging process.

Skin care
1)Cleansing or washing face too frequently in a day.
It is not advisable to cleanse our face too often in a day. Unless our face is exposed to excessive pollution such as dust and other harsh environment, cleansing too often could unnecessary remove too much natural oil that is important to the skin. It is not the frequency of cleansing that really matters; rather how effective is the cleansing in getting rid and removing dirt and excessive oil from the facial skin pores.
Generally, cleansing three times a day will do, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and finally just before bedtime. Always wash hands before washing face.
Firstly use rinse your face with mild warm water to open up the facial skin pores, next apply the necessary cleanser and use circular motion to massage, and thereafter rinse off the cleanser from your face with cold water. If there is really a need to cleanse more than 3 times in day due to severe facial oily skin condition or environmental stress, use oil-blotting paper to remove excessive oil. Never use handkerchief to dry your face. Use soft clean tissue instead to dab your face. Let your face to dry naturally. If you prefer to dry your face with a towel, make sure it is clean. A dirty facial tower could cause more harm than any other factors put together!.
2)Do not use normal soap as facial cleanser
Never use normal soap on the facial skin. Rather, use the appropriate facial cleanser products suitable for your skin type. For instance, if you have oily facial skin condition, use cleanser that is formulated to get rid of excessive oils. If your facial skin is dry, use facial cleaner with conditioner and non-oil based moisturizer. In any case there is no shoe that fits all size. Thus you are your best doctor with regards to knowing which type of facial cleanser is best for your facial skin type. Check with the dermatologist or doctor if your skin condition is serious.
3)OTC Topical Treatment
Most acne can be easily treated with off the shelf counter topical creams. It is very important to follow the directions indicated in the package. If in doubt, apply the creams on small-infected acne areas for at least a day or two to check for allergy or any side effects. There are just too many brands of OTC topical creams, not all are suitable for acne sufferers. Some topical creams dry out skin unnecessary and could worsen the problem.
Getting acne free skin is a process that includes life style changes and knowledge regarding skin care. It is not necessary to waste huge amount of money seeking treatments from commercial skin care centers to solve your acne problems. Consult a qualified dermatologist or a doctor if you have severe acne condition.
