No sugar added

Beware of food with label ‘No sugar added’. The ‘No sugar added’ label is fast becoming advertising gimmick more than anything else to attract consumer. Next time if you happen to see any foodstuff with the label ‘No sugar added’, take a look at the ingredients and you will know what I mean. For instance, the ‘Nescafe 2 in 1 ‘ package mix has the big label ‘No sugar added’ displayed prominently. Guess what’s in the ingredient?
Glucose syrup, isn’t that as close to sugar as we can get?

In between, attached is a photograph of my little Pomeranian ‘Muffin’.
I bought if from the pet shop when he was 2 months old. He is now 13 years old, still pretty active and naughty at times. Time sure pass quickly isn’t it?
Space we can recover, time never…
